VSM08102 small size 8mm M2 lead screw 4 pins FPC linear stepper motor with slider
This VSM08102 is a 8mm diameter stepper motor attached with M2 lead screw and POM plastic slider.
This is a bipolar motor with 2 phases (4 pins).
The effective stroke/travel distance is about 10mm.
If customers think it is too short, we have longer stroke for choosing.
The connector type is 4 pin FPC, and for mass production, FPC design is customizable.
Also customers are free to choose 4 pin connectors such as Molex 51021-0400(1.25mm pitch 4 pins connector)
Or JST PHR-4 (2.0mm pitch 4 pins connector)
Customer can choose the most convenient connector.

About linear stepper motor with slider:
Our slider motor is a full set of assembly including motor + lead screw + bracket + slider.
Motor’s step angle is generally 18°/step, which means 20 steps for each turn.
When motor rotates one turn, slider moves one lead.
For single start lead screws: pitch =lead.
So the step length is (step length means linear movement slider travels, when the stepper motor take exactly one step):
Lead screw lead/steps of each rotation
For example if lead screw is M2*0.4P (0.4mm pitch regular M2 lead screw), step angle of the motor is 18°, step length of this motor is 0.4mm/20=0.02mm/step.
Also, lead screw length is customizable, and we also need to adjust bracket’s design, if you customize lead screw length.
Application of stepper motors:
Stepper motors are used for precise control, widely used on medical equipment, 3D printer, industrial precise control, automation equipment, etc.
Stepper motors can be used in any mechanisms requirement precise conrtol and rotational/linear movement.
